Because we believe having an image of Jesus is having a kind of idol.And we dont worship an idol but a spirit,who came in the flesh to save us by dying for us.We know he is real because we feel him in our hearts.We dont have to look at an idol to be remined who we love and worship. PS we dont judge people who have pics of Jesus in there church or home.That is just what we believe and do.

Not at all Gilly.The church I go to doesnt believe in putting up pics of Jesus.i dont have any in my house either.Actually I never thought of what color he was untill u asked.But he had to have ruddy complexion or that is how the bible describes him and it also indicates that he wasnt a handsome man.I would describe him as a human on earth as being a medium dark skinned person,but I donot know that, all I do know was his lineage on his moms side.we dont know what color he is now that he sits at his Fathers(GOD) right hand.

Hi Gilly,nice to see u.Ill add my 2 cents then Ill leave.lol Jesus was from the lineage of David who was an Israelite.So he actually was jewish on his mothers side.But on his Fathers side there is no color.He never sees color when he looks at us.He loves us all equally and unconditionally.His own people on his mothers side crucified him.But he forgave even as they were nailing him to the cross.The bible gives us a little concept of what he looked like,but doesnt go indepth.So pictues we see are concieved byt he painter.Ive seen pics of a black Jesus.But like I said color doesnt matter.We r all equal in his eyes.

Sandy I went to singles dances when I lived in KC Mo.I was bored to death. I love to dance.But it was the same as here,there was a younger woman who came and it was like she had a target painted on her back.lol The one who I did dance with was over 6ft and I am 5 ft.Take a moment and let it sink in, LOL, My nose just about level with his belt buckel

Yep I dont drink,But gee tks a lot,do u have any idea what its like being sober,with a bunch of drunks?Giggling and silly.And if I got stopped they would probly arrest me and let all of u go.I use to drink tho.

Oh Lord Sandy Iam this biggest nut next to my daughter in Okla. Like I said I invented murphrys law.I went to my Dr last month.Hes a full blood Cherokee and I had never seen him smile.I had to have a pap smear YUK.I told him everytime I have to have this done, I kill Eve all over again for eating that apple,I said If I could find the one who coined the phrase,Life begins at 40,I would slap them,Because its all downhill, and at my age the only time u can get a man down south is a Dr with a rubber glove on.He was laughing and his nurse was doubled over.He said Jean if u liked this we would be worried about u.LOL Somehow I think hes worried about me anyway

WELCOME to the more mature nuthouse I am so happy to see someone a little older than me, finally.I talked with a scammer once who looked like a greek God in his pic,he had to leave from LA to Africa the next day,because one little boy at his orphange had just died and his staff needed him. i went along with him and asked him for a webcam appearance.None existed in Nigeria When he seen I was on to him,he decided to come clean. He was nigerian and what would I do if he asked for help for his kids.I blew up and reported him to the site and the FBI.But the agent wanted our conversations, and they had disappeared from my yahoo messenger.So I contacted him and told him I would try and work out something to help him.I led him back into asking for money.When we got off I saved the conversation and sent it to the FBI agent.He was about the 5000 one I had gotten.I was sick to death of them.But now I am suspicious of every young goodlooking guy who emails me.U have a good time here. BTY not this site

Hi Sandles just got on.I had a young guy email the other day.Had a pic.very goodlooking.When he asked for my phone num. I sent and told him why i didnt give out my num would he give me his.He sent me a cell phone.I mailed back after I found out it was a cell.Told him I needed a home phone and explained the reasons why.He emailed back and said he wouldnt bother me anymore.I also told him if we talked on messenger to have a web cam because I did,and then I would be sure I knew who I was talking to.It may sound tough but if they have nothing to hide and they r interested they wont mind.Have a good one .PS pratice makes perfect

Sorry to diappoint u John But ur wrong,this time,He said mature women and he didnt specify who and I am mature so I wasnt being defensive.But it did irriate me,because I am honest as they come.Doing something like that also denotes being stupid which I am not.

I do agree with the webcam and insist on it before I meetr anyone.I have seen 100s of pics of movie star looks and its always a red flag.So when they email and ask for my personal messenger I just tell them if I give it to u u better have a web cam.I usually never hear from them again.

Since I am one of the mature women on here,I need to reply.I deleted the real close up witch was a fews yrs old.But the others were all taken last year,so my pics r current. I do not try and deceive anyone,and resent the implications,since u pretty much included all in ur comment.I am not intimated in the least by any younger woman.
