agentajax, pls.become an agent for information about actual state of science and hmmm ,lets say religious founders. Nowadays scientists look in old scriptures of Buddha,mahavir or laotse to find the right words for that which they have found. The mystics i mentioned have always talked about paradoxically and mysteries, which nowadays scientists have discovered.The scientists dont know anynore how to express this. Eddington says, the univers is no more a thing , it is more a thought.That means the univers is more a conciousness as materia.It is all energy. When mahavir was asked something, he always answered the uestion with : MAYBE. Today we know that that an elektron can be a partikle OR a wave. The most intelligent scientists become somehow religious. That what einstein called the relativity-theory mahavir called sapekshawad- the theory ofrelativity. Isnt it fantastic , that a man 25centuries before einstein knew already such fundamental things? These mystics did choose the way "in". They experienced in their inside, what nowadays scientists proved in the outside. Thats why i want to advice you to make your own experience. Then you would not discuss in that way you do. I promise.
chris, i found an ineresting vid on youtube, "where buddha meets einstein " and no, i dont think that we will know the answer than, then god has to be defined again, new, as science grows god also grows, this is an endless process ;.)
For example, if i ask a person: Is there god ? Does god exist?- if he answered from the mind he will be stupid.If he says god exists,coz he was taught, cultivated, conditioned that god exists, he says "yes, god exists"But he does not know , others told him.He believes in a rumor. Or the man can say the opposite:"No,god doesnt exist."coz he was brought up like this. Both answers are the answer of a stupid mind. But if an intelligent person is asked....there will be no answer. At the most the intelligent person can say -i dont know, or i will try to experience, to investigate. This is intelligence, and with this intelligence discovery is possible.To know that you dont know is to be intelligent.The way of the mystics is to practice, to find out what the phenomenon god is. Go in and find out.
i found out: i have a mind , but iam not the mind i havefeelings, but i am not the feelings if someone is identficated with his mind then its hard to discuss, then its difficult to work together.....
