RE: I would love to hear your worst first date story!

Oh oh,,,wait wait wait,,,,,,,,,,,this date popped into my head. We met for coffee and as we began to chat a bit, I suddenly realize I was in a session with some sort of therepest, because he grabbed a napkin and pulled a pen out of his pocket. He then began to talk about the dynamics of how a woman has to space herself with her children when a man comes into her life. I had been read up on inner child work and the whole nine yards, but he was so scary serious about the whole conversation. UGHHHHHHH RED FLAGS---big time there!
Lets face it, we all that ideals of who we are looking for, but sometimes I believe there are those out there who are so very intense. They have no idea that they are repelling other simply by laying all the cards out on the first date.

Hmmmm, well I suppose the one that sticks out the worst was the gentleman who seemed to be on his cell phone too much, while we were at the folk life festival in Seattle. Come to find out, he was talking to his X, who was checking to find out how well the date was going. I knew something didnt seem right,,,,,,,,,,

Maybe that is why so many people would like to live in the past. Life was simple, although some of it very hard. Can you imagine no plumbing, electiricity, and having to ride your wagon to work? We are here in this special time for a purpose. As those of yesteryear were there in their time.
Frankly I love the idea of living off the grid. We just live in a complicated time. But we have created this,,,,,,,,,suppose we create all that we experience. I like simple myself, sometimes its hard not to get caught up in the world huh? Disheartening at times,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but dont worry,,,,,,,BE HAPPY!

Im sorta scared of marriage these days. They may have had some fears that manifested after the big M took place.
Our minds have alot more power then we give them credit for. Then again,,,,,,,,,,maybe their time together was done. Shoot that happens after people have been together for 45 years,,,,,,,,,,,who knows. Tis life

Hey, I want to write a book here, but I have to get to work. For now anyways I can say that Ive gotton some real reallllllllllllllllllly heavy mental emails and whether its a tiny RED FLAG or large,,,,,,,,,,,pay attention to the flags.
It blows me away how individuals can pour their hearts out on the internet in order to make a connection.
If you have one ounce of desparation in you for companionship, you are a target!!!! They read the profiles for targets. Just keep it light.

Couldnt agree more!!!
I work in retail and sometimes people are in very serious moods out there. We have days at work where we make sure everyone leaves the store happier then they came regardless of the abount of money they spend. I think part of the smile is the eye to eye contact you give. It work wonders and breaks the ice.

Well, I tell ya, if the guy does not respect his own health issues in taking care of himself, I dont think he would be worth my time.
My son is diabetic and its terrible for them to drink and get drunk because they have no way of knowing if their sugar levels are dropping when they are drug,,,,,,sometimes the feeling is the same. It is a very frightening thing to have someone drinking when they are diabetic. I would NEVER be around someone who took those kind of chances with their own lives........thats how they die.
