I believe the count of fatalities, offically is 6 but I just heard a press confereance where they stated that there are people, deceased, that are still in their vehicles and currently there are 30 listed as missing. He told a story about one man that was alive when found and was assisted in making a phone call to his family before he died..
Each day should be treated as your last one! We just don't know when it really will be.
I am sure the people on that bridge, on their way home, to their kids sports games or to the Twins baseball game NEVER thought in a million years that this would be their last moment to live!
When I was there, I was married and husband was in the Air Force, stationed at Cambria....I used to go to Lake Naciamento (know I didn't spell that right..lol) near atascadero.
Time flys when you are having fun Leo....and it flew at super sonic speed....We talked for almost 2 hours...and probably would still be talking if I hadn't had to get up at 5:00 AM for work.
Even had a 35 year old today!....All seem to be able to see the words Sandy mentioned on our foreheads..Interestingly once I tell them I AM NOT giving them my eamil address or phone #...the never surface again.....
Hi Gang....I sure have missed everyone. I spent the day celebrating my mother's 88th birthday with family so haven't been around until now....and...... ....looks like no one is around....oh well, that is what I get for not coming into our forum.
It is great to see new faces joinging in our good group....We are all a bit crazy but we sure have a lot of fun.....I will check back later to see if anyone is around to say "howdy" to. n
