To get along with someone you have to treat them the way they want to be treated. If something is said that you do not like or is not true, so what. You do not have to respond. You can choose to be happy or argue your point till no one is happy.
I often do date single moms. Many women are single parents. They usually are the best women to date. You pay the baby sitter for her and she gets to enjoy some time out of the house. You can even take the kids along and have a great time. If you are dating their mom you need to get to know them too. :)
