"age is but a number" maybe but I know quite a few people around my age and they are all completely different. A friend of mine is 40 looks 35 and acts 50, go figure your preference on that one. I would sooner not be defined by my age but by my attitude. I have the desire of my 20's but the experience of my 40's. So if I like a woman who says 40 is her limit, I would ask "is that age or attitude? Someone else said "you're only as old as the one you feel" I say "you're only as old as you make him/her feel"
