I hear ya, Golden. There's a difference between poor spelling and not even being able to understand what they are getting at because the words don't make sense together! I have nothing against poor spellers, I'm not so great myself! I would reply to all messages, though,but if I get that feeling that something just ain't right (i.e not from this country), I'm not going to keep writing back if they are looking for someone to send them $200,000 deposited into a South African bank account. I agree, most of the people here are really great. I guess because it's free though you have to be much more vigilant about who is genuine and who is just out to scam. Because as noted in the earlier posts they are using common names, towns, and pictures of real people, not just models. But you can usually tell by the grammar and language, I think, when they try to write to you.
That's so surreal ( I read your profile)! I completely agree with you on the common courteousy thing. I'm sure you're messages are more personal - some I have gotten sound like they come straight out of a Cracker Jack box. I still try to send a note saying "thanks but no thanks", anyway. Hi everyone. From my perspective as a new member here, I feel like I don't know which ones are real people's profiles and which are scammers looking for who knows what?!? I had gotten very nice initial messages from a few people then with the second message that involves some analysis of my letter, their replies do not make sense as if they don't know the English Language. So then I'm paranoid that it is one of those scams or something. Just my thoughts, and then it seems like alot of work to find the true people compared to those who are out to take advantage............................so I can see why alot of people give up on this site and don't come back on.
