it's amazing this new Paradigm pump...it literally gives me exatly the amount of insulin I need based on my current blood glucose count and the amount of carbs I am about to eat...I take an additional shot of smylin at meals to slow the digestive process down and keep me less hungry afterwards...my A1C was 6.8...I believe I'll crush that number this time...I have lost almost 30 pounds this year and hope to lose another 30 in the next 6 months...by all means if you know any diabetics tell them tight management, frequent bg testing and diet and excercise does make a difference in the way you take on your life...
Yes, it's a sport, a great social activity, but it's more of a semi-private walk around some of the grand places around the world...depending on t-time!
there are so many Cohen is great, Shawn Colvin, Tommy Sands, Robbie Robertson,John Prine, Tom Waits, Townes Van Zandt, ...The Pogues, Bruce Cockburn, Randy Newman, ........etc lyrically sound, musically fine... spiritually there..almost divine!
LETS PUT ON OUR THINKING CAPS WHAT SHOULD WE DO FIRST... A. WRITE DOWN THE PEOPLE WE WANT TO MEET AND WHERE WE NEED TO GO TO MEET THEM...? B. FIND OUT IF ANYONE ELSE IS GOING THAT WAY AND PAY HALF THE PETRO? C. SIGN UP AS MANY PEOPLE THAT WE CAN THAT THINK THIS A GOOD IDEA AND PRESENT IT TO A TRAVEL AGENCY? I'M UP FOR IDEA'S!
finding a collective way to travel and bring us singles together...I think it's a win/win for everyone involved. I don't understand the travel industry or how something like this could be achieved but I feel that working in collaboration with hotels and travel agencies in a collective way...it would be affordable for those of us who have watched our correspondence go from casual "hi how are you" to "when the heck are we getting together" I think could be affordable, and give this Connecting Singles Idea a real edge on the others...accessibility and convenience ..I'm just thinking out loud!
Good idea...if I spend too much time in my own head I'll never smell the flowers...I think this self analysis is addicting..I feel becuz I feel unbalanced, instead of taking a long healthy walk and let my mind and body relax and sort it all out, I go into my head...I'm writing that down "live life" sounds simple enuff!
' The idea of observing our behavior can change it you said well, no wonder I feel the ground move everytime I try and analyze why I think the way I do...! I can't get a good reading w/o putting myself thru some real paces.
thanks for adding to the thread...this idea of "relativist existence" can you paraphrase that? I like the idea of what it means that becuz of it no meaningful communication can occur...I appreciate anything you can add!
putting my thoughts into language/symbols jesus christ...would not find it easy either...and I'm obviously far from that guy. Let me introduce my self myself...I'm a guy who finds it hard to focus sometimes...blurred consciousness...and a lack of confidence in my own voice...well that about wraps up my thoughts for today! if you have any on this subject or others, feel free to put it out there or here! lol
thanks for telling me about this it's good to see there are other rooms at this site to converse and maybe even be inspired or find somebody interested in pushing energy forward... thanks again!
I had a friend tell me here's were writers get together well, I just thought I'd drop in and write this little letter I'm 49 and single and I think I'm getting better. I love the written word and how we string them all to-gether Everyday I get an update from The Writers Almanac. From a guy name Keillor, it's free and full of facts, about writers, and poets, and lots of ink and perspiration, and some of those who left the building before their train got in the station... well, anyway drop on in and we can listen to each other like a mother or a father or a sister or a brother, or long forgotten friend that used to think our work was something back when it was fun to make our mountains out of nothing!
