Welcome to the nutty place.strange things heppen here,tis a bit like twilight zone somtimes.Ya meet some ,ya loose some,then ya find one.Makes the effort worth while.Only a blow in, but glad the wind blew.
Really hope some one takes you up on ya idea.Will be haeding back to Liverpool me self tho:( Hmm,Liverpool,its cheap,cheerfull and pubs open xmas day :)On the down side the sun has not been seen there for many moons and peeps speak funny.

I went the pennyhill but was not expecting any one as none had siad they were going.Ended up leaving and going the deadmans around 9.30 ish.Shot some pool and got chatting with a few of the locals.It actually turned out to be a good night in the end.After playing very well I missed a black sitting over the pocket.It was then open season to slag flukey hahah.
As i said before im always up for a chat and beer on a saturday ya just need to to say ya will be there then I will watch out for ya.It really would be nice to mee a few peeps.
I also go out on fridays but that tends to be with me few friends who happen to be married with 2.3 kids (grand children if the truth be known :) ) While I love my freinds very much and would die for em Im hoping to meet some peeps who are some what in the same situation as my self.
Any ways,i will keep posting and hopefully at some point someone will will take the bull by the horn and drop by.
Errmm, well this Saturday (10/11/07)will be in the Pennyhill Balgady/Lucan from half eight in the lounge.Its fairly quiet there but theres usually a live band kicks off up stairs around 10:00 to 10:30.Not sure if any would want or could make that.But if ya do decide to pop along your more than welcome, whoever ya are, man/woman,young/old,Tall/short,heavy/light tis just for a laugh
Any ways as for a pub in town, the Live bar in the Irish life centre Abbey street side was mentioned as a quiet type of place for meeting up.That would be Saturday 17/11/07. will work on times if any show an interest.
I dont mind having a bash its more the choice of venue.Im not to well up on the pubs in Dublin center and im guessing its best location for genral ease of access for peeps.Its prolly a couple of years since I was in Town.On weekends I tend frequent the Lucan/clondalkin area.
Having said that im sure a few peeps here may know a few watering holes.Suggestuions for nice pubs folks in Dublin center? If not I can do some homework and see what I come up with.
Somthing like, Hey will be in the Dug and Dock this Saturday any one fancy a Jar or two.Bring a friend, bring ya gran, who cares,let the good times roll"type of thing"
Just wondering why we dont see more impulsive post arranging a night out in ya local city/town.Im only new so there may well be valid reasons.Somthing like this;
1. Naming a pub in a fairly central location.
2. Hopefully generate some interest.
3. Go to pub
4. Have a laugh and some fun
5. Go home.
Maybe folks have tried it and theres just not enough interest.As for me im always up for a laugh within the Dublin area on most weekends.
