Family stories about having American Indian heritage is a very common phenomenon in America! These stories are passed down from one generation to the next and people have no reason to doubt it until a DNA test refutes it! Even Michael Steele the former Chair of the Republican National Committee said that story was part of his families beliefs because they have high cheekbones!
