Looked at profiles of locals

Hi Chele;
Thanks for the welcome. I do the international forums, too. However, still hoping to meet that special male for dating, from this area. Doesn't look too hopeful! Not many here in the right age category!banana

RE: Wake up IN.................

I notice there is very little activity here!! I'm here, and loving living in Indy. Wouldn't have it any other way.banana

RE: Do Older Women Better Lovers

No Ambrose; I meant women over 40-50. Just going by what I've been told by men. I don't expect anyone under that age to understand, except men who've experienced it, and women who are aready there. applause
Let me just say this. Young women are in for a wonderful surprise when they get to that milestone.heart beating

RE: Do Older Women Better Lovers

Of course we make better lovers! Older is better, when it comes to women. (Spoken from the mouth of an older womanblushing )

Is this a new trend??

Ulimaroa, I have to agree with you, to some extent. I think that it is the dream world thing in a lot of cases. On-line relationships can be romantic and perfect. You don't have to see the other person at their worst, only with their best foot/face forward.

While I believe that some are the real thing, like Don said, your observation is probably more true in most cases. I, personally, can't see myself living out a relationship by posting about my personal life online. I have been on forums while I was in a relationship, but not with someone from that site, and I said nothing about it in my posts.

It does seem that people are being applauded, like winning a contest, once they start dating someone. How many actually become a real couple, and are some jumping the gun by proclaiming they have found someone before the relationship is solidified? Just my observation.

But, to each his own. If some can find joy in imaginary relationships, who are we to judge. I say go for whatever lights up your life.cheering heart wings

Is this a new trend??

Don, that was a great answer to my questions. What a romantic you are! I'm glad to hear that you found your love on here, and that you continue to romance her via this site. I wasn't implying that there is anything wrong with you or anyone being here. Was just wondering why. I know these forums can be addictive, and you have let me know they can also be useful even within a marriage. Good for you!applause

RE: SUNRISE or SUNSETS

I love both. Being a morning person, I like nothing better than taking an early morning walk and watching the sunrise. But, sunsets are equally as beautiful. As I said in my profile, I love sunrises, sunsets and rainbows.

Is this a new trend??

I notice that now, on dating sites, when two people hook up, they don't leave! They continue on, with pics of them and their SO together, which is really cute.

But, is this the new face of dating sites? Do people become addicted and can't stand to leave? Or do they just want to stay to communicate with others here? Or, are they still thinking something better may come their way?

Are people settling and hooking up, just to say they have someone? What is the attraction of a dating site after you've already found what you were looking for?uh oh jaw drop

Looked at profiles of locals

Thought I'd check the profiles to see if anymore here in my age category, or even close. So, if you ladies and gentlemen from my area see that I have viewed yours, don't read anything into it. Just checking. Found a few. Hopefully, more will come on board. cool wave

Anyone here from Indy over 50?

I'm new here. Just wondering if there is anyone else here over the age of 50 from Indy or near by? I joined hoping to meet new friends, eventually, in person. I'm not really big on e-mail/website friends that never materialize into the real world. So give it a shout out if you're there!! I'm listening and waiting!banana angel help

Hello from Indy!

WOW! Thanks for the welcome. I'm liking this place already. Nice to know I'm not the only one who refuses to grow up. Didn't know there was any other Indy! So, I'm learning new stuff already. banana

Hello from Indy!

Just found this site and decided to jump in. Would like to know if there are others here from Indy? I'm looking for new friends, since at my age, they seem to be dropping off for one reason or another. While I just keep skippin' right along. Guess it's in the genes, but I forgot to grow oldbanana Does that make me weird? Anyway, I'm looking forward to learning, and contributing some profound stuff here. So, hello to all of you wonderful people! Let the fun begin.angel
