Thank you ship, I am not mad about your post. I don't agree with her on some things either but as you say, she is a fighter and I have to admire her for that. I probably won't vote in this election if Obama gets the nomination and I will be anxiously waiting for the 2012 election to see if she runs again. That is if the Myans are correct in their prediction that the world will end on 12/21/2012.
Can't hurt to spend 1 minute each evening... ONE MINUTE EACH NIGHT In WWII, there was an advisor to Churchill who organized a group of people who dropped what they were doing every night at a prescribed hour for one minute to collectively pray for the safety of England, its people and peace. This had an amazing effect as bombing stopped! There is now a group of people who are organizing the same thing here in America. If you would like to participate: Each evening at 9:00 PM Eastern Time (8:00 PM Central, 7:00 PM Mountain, 6:00 PM Pacific), stop whatever you are doing and spend one minute praying: for the safety of the United States, our troops, our citizens and for peace in the world (as well as for the upcoming Presidential election this fall). This so called "teacher" needs to be taken down a peg or two and I would be just the one to do it if it were my son.!!! SHAME, SHAME, SHAME. What in the world was this teacher thinking????? OOPS, no brain to think with!!!!
I read a book by Rick Warren, it is called "A purpose Driven Life" It is a great book and it goes into detail about what our purpose is here on earth. Now I understand a little better. Mr Warren says that God is testing us to make sure we are worthy of the Kingdom. He is watching to see how we handle the trials and tribulations of life.
Sometimes, I catch myself doubting, and asking WHY? and it is confusing.
It still didn't clarify why there is such horrible deaths of children who are the innocents.
I am also new here. I have been reading some of the posts and I must admit, some of them are quite funny. My screen name is cheesewhiz....because my favorite phrase was "Gee Whiz" and my young son thought I was saying cheesewhiz so he started telling people that his mom's other name was cheesewhiz. I know, I know, it is "cheesy" but it stuck.
