Personally for me its not being recongised by people I know, along with the fact that I'd rather not be judged by my appearance, as appearances can be deciving, both in a positive and negative way.
I just think many men prefer attrative looking women, even if that means theyre younger, and they like to keep their options open.
In my last relationship the guy was 10 years older than myself, and to be honest I never cared and nor did he. Ironically enough what ended the relationship was the fact that one of us wasn't mature enough (and it wasn't me).
Having said that I realise many people see age as a huge barrier, but perhaps we should be looking at maturity rather than age as a qualifying factor?
