Great post. This hits the nail on the head. What intrigues me the most is how so many otherwise normal, patriotic Americans have jumped on to this bandwagon. They capture the "righteous", those afraid to go against the current, to make independent judgement and need the approval of others. Even as a teenager, my dad (a WWII Army Vet) and I would talk about how Japan and Germany had a big advantage in growing their respective economies because they didn't have to budget for a military. Of course their growth was being funded, as it has ever since, by the American taxpayer. People have become so accustomed to the status quo they accept it as simply what is. We've all seen the Chinese manipulate the market. It's been discussed to death, but Trump is doing something about it. In fact, he has followed through on every single campaign promise, something I've never in my 65 years seen before. He has dealt with a mentally unstable megalomaniac firing missiles over Japan and openly threatening to destroy our country. He's told Iran their scamming of Obama wasn't going to fly on his watch. He's moved the embassy to Jerusalem in accordance to the treaty signed by all the world powers who have ever since sat cowering in fear of the consequences of enforcing this treaty. On the other side we have Waters, Pelosi, et. al. Think about it. Would you trade the above for one of them?
