Would love to see some of your work. Its a shame you cant display it here! My sister in law (Im separated, before people start jumping to conclusions lol), is an amazing artist!
Art sorry sweety, I didnt mean to offend. Was just in a goofy mood when I read that post. I did know what you meant....was just my weird sense of humour that day
WOW softtouch6 haha - when you said you'd got a response to this you werent kidding! haha...
I've got to admit, spelling and grammar on here does irritate me alittle..but then again, I am a teacher, so I guess it's in my blood to be picky like that lol!
I don't expect everyones grammar to be perfect, as even MINE isn't. However, it does impress me more when peoples' spelling/grammar etc is actually understandable and intelligent lol.
Go grammar/spelling/spell checker addicts!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy Mothers Day to those of us who have lost a child, or are trying for a child, or have failed to conceive.
Many people forget these women on a day like today.
If you have lost a child, people sometimes try and avoid the day to make it easier for you (and them). But you are still a mother regardless! So to those in this situation, my heart goes out to you and your child(ren) are still with you in your heart. No matter what people say or think - you are still a mother and always will be.
If you are TTC (trying to conceive) and, like myself were/have been, unsuccessful, today can be quite painful. Its that little reminder that you are missing out on what so many others have.
To me personally, although I do not have any children, in my heart I am a mother without a child to love. Our wombs may be empty, but our hearts are not.
Anyway, just wanted to acknowledge those of us in those situations. Its not an easy day for some. Just know that you are not alone - in more ways than one.
Ok, no offence to anyone who disagrees with me....BUT..
What kind of fruitloop would think its OK for a woman to hit a man?
And I can tell ya now, if a man laid a hand on me in any way OTHER than in a loving way, they'd be left with no choice but to change their sir-name to BOBBIT!
It IS a terrific photo isnt it! The photographer is SUCH a talented, beautiful, sweet, humourous (am I laying it on thick enough yet?) lady!!!!!!!!!!! (Points to Softtouch6)....hehe
Ok - anyway = when I posted this thingy i was feeling abit blah....I was curious as to what and how men thought...I dont now, nor never WILL I hide who I am or what I am. Im a very straight up person, and make sure that anyone I ever talked to online here, knew that I had a disability, straight away. If they have a problem with that, thats THEIR disability, not mine...
I've now met and am seeing a man and hes just LOVELY (not from this site, but never mind lol).
I'd agree with all that! Except the part about them being smarter than you lol. I like someone thats my equal, but can stretch and/or question my way of thinking - broaden my horizons.
Looks fade away eventually. You might be a studmuffin at in your 20s/30s/40s, but eventually those looks fade away to grey hairs, wrinkles and flabby bits. Give me a man with substance any day lol.
Money, I don't care about. I've never been surrounded by money, so I don't see what the big fuss is to be honest. I'd rather have a poor man who has a good work ethic, than a rich one who gets things handed to them on a silver platter ya know?
It's whats inside that matters to me. Someone that shows and has respect for everyone (and everything), has an open mind, a sense of humour, can laugh at themselves and life, and has integrity. Having common ideals and interests is almost important, but it's also important that people have individuality as well.
Definately a great idea! Make sure its warm...unless you wanna snuggle up of course lol... Make sure you're not in long grass - just incase she gets hayfever - which I can assure you, doesnt make ya feel romantic lol ;) And great views are always great!
RE: Why can't people use the spell checkers on their computers???!!!
