Vaccine sceptic Cardinal Raymond Burke on ventilator in US hospital

"Irish-American Cardinal Raymond Burke (73), a Covid-19 vaccine sceptic, has been placed on a ventilator after testing positive for the virus last week. A tweet sent by his staff said he is now on a ventilator at the hospital in Wisconsin, where he was bishop from 1994 to 2005."

A huge crime against humanity

"Look at the image posted that shows how it all started.
Promoting Islamic fundamentalism, this huge crime against humanity, was a tremendous weapon against the Afghan socialist regime, but above all an extraordinarily well-chalked trap for the decrepit Soviet leadership at the time. They prompted that gerontocracy to intervene stupidly in Afghanistan to help the regime, which was in trouble with the worst trained and extremely well armed people and quickly became swamped in a dead end conflict. But attention, this bet on Islamic fundamentalism was not the work of the Reagan administration, as is thought, but the Carter administration was the one of human rights and Nobel Peace prize. As the Soviets fell like ducks, they still had an excuse to boycott the Moscow Olympic Games...
But if this bet had only had the aim of weakening the USSR, it would have contributed greatly to its end, geostrategically it would have been understood.
The drama is that this bet on fundamentalists is a fundamental goal of American foreign policy. Taliban, Al Qaeda, Daesh, everything was created with USA involvement to serve their interests and if sometimes the creature turns against the creator, it's no hindrance to a while to serve him again.
Some analysts are very concerned that Afghanistan may again be a base for Al Qaeda, but they hide that in Syria, Al Qaeda can only hold on Idlib, thanks to the huge support from Turkey and USA and attention to that support there is or has been more Nato countries involved.
Notice everything secular in the Arab world has been destroyed by the USA and its fundamentalist acolytes, Libya, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and what will come forward.
Arab secular regimes tend to be less obedient to the orders of the Empire than fundamentalists and therefore obviously have to be replaced by these.
It's complete cynicism for US supporters to come and tell us about human rights and particularly women's rights.
This promotion by USA of Islamic fundamentalism is perhaps the greatest crime against humanity of today's times."

RE: Write some beautiful words for your parents

Not my words, but I dedicate this to poem from Bobby Sands to my dear mother.. Bless her...angel

Dear Mum, I know you’re always there
To help and guide me with all your care,
You nursed and fed me and made me strong
To face the world and all its wrong.

What can I write to you this day
For a line or two would never pay
For care and time you gave to me
Through long hard years unceasingly.

How you found strength I do not know
How you managed I’ll never know,
Struggling and striving without a break
Always there and never late.

You prayed for me and loved me more
How could I ask for anymore
And reared me up to be like you
But I haven’t a heart as kind as you.

A guide to me in times of plight
A princess like a star so bright
For life would never have been the same
If I hadn’t of learned what small things came.

So forgive me Mum just a little more
For not loving you so much before,
For life and love you gave to me
I give my thanks for eternity.
