When someone says they're falling for you, they're probably standing too close to the stairs...
But seriously, I can tell you from experience, when someone tells you not to get too attached, or that you are too good for them, believe them... you are.
For those of us who didn't even have a "scary date" story and have to resort to telling the "I was out with friends... " story:
I was at a bar with friends a few nites ago. The music was great, there were 3 bands and they were all very good. The problem was that, being 40, I and my group were pretty much an island. We were surrounded by a sea of 20-somethings and elderly farmers that had evidently been drinking the better part of the day. I guess that's what I get for still liking heavy music *sigh*. I also guess that's why I'm online ; ) .
