"Fallen angel"

In my dreams she comes to me,having
fallen from the sky,this devine creature
seems to hover above,as a full moon is
also in the sky,a glow from her presence,
for these two wonders are all I can see,
but I have fallen,lying in a carpet of thorns,
but their pain I do not feel,but she knows
the wounds are deep,for those around had
only taken,and as I tried to escape,I had
stumbled and fallen not seeing where I was going,
she comforts me,like never before,so taking hold
of my hands,as I find it hard to rise to my feet,
her help is needed to stand,as I am now blessed
in her presence,I wish she would stay,so now I know
these angels are real,but their spirit you cannot take
and keep,so as I look again she is gone,but her lesson
remains,as she watches over me,I know one day her
mortal soul will approach,and never leave,as these
things take time,for her image has awoken me,
but only to remind how it feels,once you find the true one
that cares...
