I am driving up to Red Deer in August to see a friend that has moved from Prince George. I will be taking 2 days and will be driving through the Rockies and I haven't been through that way in over 10 years.
What is your favourite restaurant/cafe in your town?
We had a 2 hour celebration at our local park with live music and cake. The big thing around here is the Williams Lake Stampede just before Canada day so that kind of makes the celebration not so big.

What is the strangest food that you have ever ate or tried to eat?
Growing up we often had cow's brains (fried) for breakfast, I didn't mind them, Dad would season them with lots of pepper. We also ate cow's tongue. I didn't mind that either. Not that I would go out of my way to purchase any of those items. I have also tried bear meat.
