RE: The Smoking and Honesty Thread...

I like smoking. I've quit twice for a year within the last five years, and it's been a month since I've had a smoke now.

so I'm on board with the quitting smoking crowd of this thread... but from my experience you've quit smoking once you realize that to quit smoking isn't really all THAT hard.
Get it?
Did someone make you smoke?
I smoke when I want to and damnit - it's quittin' time now.

have you taught abroad? do share!

Hello dear CS members.

I was wondering if those who have had a teaching abroad experience would share some advantages and disadvantages of such a lifestyle...

Most commoly it is the teaching of English that spurrs on a teaching abroad job, but not exclusively.

Some common motivations are to finance other travel, a change in career, experiencing a different culture, the love of teaching, or to escape the humbrum of life at home...

I'm such one teacher myself and I can't rely on my own reflections to make a decision if this 'nomdic' life is worth the constant move.

I'd appreciate your input.
