I guess I'm just kinda surprised that folks from Texas don't converse much here. Surely there are some interesting topics to be discussed. Are y'all out there? Hello?
There is a state park in Arkansas (Diamond Crater, I believe) where people can search for diamonds. They grab a shovel and dig and sift through the volcanic ash. And, diamonds have been found. Not by everyone who searches. As a matter of fact, the incidence of actually finding a diamond is quite low. But when compared to the number of people who find diamonds in their everyday existence who do not search, that likelihood rises dramatically for those who did search. Call it eternal optimism, or perhaps the hopeless romantic, but if you do not believe that it can happen - the odds are guaranteed to drop drastically. If you are willing to take that risk and search for that special someone - grab a shovel and start digging. So, yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.
Unfortunately, it has been a few years since I flirted with serious intent - so I guess I may need to brush up on my flirtin' skills. Second marriage was eight years ago, been on my own for the past three.
Okay, just poured my third cup of coffee, cooked up some bacon, and combed my hair -- I think I'm ready to join the world now. So what is the deal with Flirting 101? And why does it bring about such chaos?
