You are doing better than me. I had someone rate me a 1 out of 10. Don't get hung up over it, just shift your focus to making friends and having fun everyday.
I just joined about a week ago and what I have been doing is refining my Profile and my photos. My photo was rated at a 7.4 by 23 people, I thought I was at least an 8-8.5. Beauty is truly in the eyes of the beholder. I interpret that to mean that at least 23 people took the time to look at me. That's a positive.
Try changing photos from time to time, and refine your profile with anything fun that has occurred in your life. I have replied to a few posts in the forums, but you could try starting an interesting topic that would stir things up in a positive way.
Last but not least, Be Patient. I know what it feels like to get impatient with little or no results having tried online dating 2 years ago at another site. But here I am again with the new attitude to make friends instead, and let the rest take care of itself in its own time.
Remember there are people joining everyday and you never know when your profile will connect with that special person.
I was introduced to the LOA about 8 years ago by someone from Hawaii, and had little success with it until about 3 years ago. Much of the success I think could have been luck and chance. Then my mom died and it was a difficult time. So 3 years ago I got a hold of the Secret DVD and it seemed to click with what I had been reading all along. I suddenly 'felt' differently and just somehow knew that everything was going to work out. 1. Increase income to help pay off my debts. 2. Abundant lifestyle with a home in the USA 3. Beautiful soulmate to share my abundance.
Well my income did increase unexpectedly, I was able to pay off my debts. I was then inspired to try online dating and joined Match.com, and by a miracle I found someone who was interested in me. Wow this stuff really works. I just could not believe it.
Well a few months later the soulmate I found turned out to be a scammer and took me for all the money I had earned earlier. :-) Ha HA. Very True.
So I think that the LOA has to be tested with a controlled group of people and measured against the probability of statistics and see if it is really only luck and chance. Because there are many successes that are reported, but the failures never bother to speak up too often.
Now here I am on CS trying my LUCK again and hope by CHANCE someone special takes the RISK to get to know someone like myself.
