RE: Rebound relationships... do they last or just a tool/path to get back into dating?

i think my ex must be on the rebound. Because a month (jan)later he hooked up with an old school friend on Facebook. They got engaged 3 weeks later on Valentines day (feb) and in March moved in together. Please don't tell me that is love and will last. I of course was just left without a real answer,except i found out he was cheating on me with someone else. So is she the reboundee if she was the second women he hooked up within a short time,so it does not make her special does it.
