Oh dear, I just realised that I misspelled Kevin Costner on my list. Did anyone notice? I´m sure everyone will now...

Which actor´s portrayal of Count Dracula is the best?

I´m afraid that Leslie Nielsen and Denholm Elliott didn´t quite make my Top Ten List here. David Niven also played Dracula in a 1970s horror spoof called Vampira and Peter Cushing played him in a French film called Tendre Dracula (as far as I know Peter Cushing is the only actor to have played Dracula and his nemesis Van Helsing). I suppose you could even include William Marshall in the films Blacula and Scream Blacula Scream. There are many more I´m sure.

I hadn´t forgotten about that one but I must admit that I have not seen that film - it´s one of the few Mel Brooks movies I haven´t seen so I did not include him for that reason. I guess I´ll have to check that one out now.
