I didn’t justify any murder in the name of religion, in fact in my first article in this thread I did question these killings in the name of God. What I stated(searching for a philosophy to get free) is a fact of human nature not a rhetoric to justify innocent killing. A oppressed people is weak people, it can be cheated by those who claim they are fighting for it, yet most of the time it have little options to choose from. And it is not always true that those ideological based parties have no popular base, as example Hamas may be considered as terrorist for Israel or USA but it do have sympathy among large number of Palestine ,denying that will be a arrogance .

Regarding American taken as prisoner by AL Qeada, I did reply it in my so called rhetoricdescribed by you ( you cannot compare yourself by someone who you think are wrong, it doesn’t help you to make a great case).I can only add that by questioning their behavior you cannot hide the torture you did.

I am here not to defend Taliban or that sort. I personally is not so much annoyed with their so called fight against western Empire , rather what disturb me most is their discriminatory and violent behavior towards women, I have zero tolerance for that, for these they should be punished and publicly humiliated.

As I stated before if you only held Muslim extremist responsible to create divisions then you certainly not showing the whole picture, you should not hide the other extremists, as for every action there must be a reaction.

I don’t think Roman empire was as diverse as USA, beside when I said there is Iranian American, European American ,Bangladeshi American etc but no American American: I mean it in positive sense, it shows that you hold a mini world within yourself and you together struggle to make a better world. It increase the chance that you may succeed to inspire rest to build a better world because of this diversity within you

Regarding the comparison between USA and Srilanka ,well I don’t see any, USA is far big with much more greater agenda, Yes what USA do get highlight because you have effect on most of world and you are a star country ,and as Isreal have a love affair with USA it also get highlights just as a star’s girlfriend gets

My friend don’t be so excited ,it is bad for your health .I did say many of those incidents not all, beside it is very common in human history when a group of people struggle against a tyrant Empire they do need a philosophical base ,some time it may be religious philosophy that emphasis on equality ,So it is not necessary that make you a terrorist.And if you think it is only Muslims or only radical Muslims who are behind every evil in this world then I don’t see any future of our debate, I am not here to change someone’s blind radical belief.

As far as your country’s greatness issue I wrote something about that in my previous article, by comparing your behavior with some other whom you think are worst people on earth , you certainly not made a great case .Finally I should say when Sun rises every body can see, you don’t have to force

There is a difference in literal meaning between crusade and Jihad, crusade means Holly war, and one cannot compare Hamas with Al Quada or any of that sorts , Hamas popularity is a direct result of the failure of PLO’s inability to carry a nation’s dream towards freedom , and what can a Palestine man do to protest the tyranny by a highly sophisticated army ?If you see the map of Gaza and west bank and know the population of Palestine you would wonder how they live even without knowing the actual miserable condition, nobody should forget they were the real owner of those land who are kicked out unlawfully not like Isreal who claim that land on basis of old testaments so called “promised land”. Yet I believe Jews Suffered a lot through out the history and ironically most of the time by radical Christians who are now their biggest ally: history is really a strange thing ! And they do have the right to live in a land where they feel security and peace , Most Arab and Muslims now accept that fact ,well may be unwillingly but they accept, But Isreal still behave like a crying arrogant baby not willing to hear anybody, if you follow recent incidents you would know what I mean.
Territorial claims is old idea to rule , today it is easier to control a country by other means, beside USA have many army ,air and navy camp through out the world .Regarding USA as a Empire , I do think it is really a unique empire that is not controlled by a single race; instead it was and still is built by immigrants came from different parts of the world( there is Iranian American, European American ,Bangladeshi American etc but no American American ),many who always criticized it may be jump if a citizenship is offered to him or her, because USA has its magic that other countries don’t have, it still can produce a Obama, Google, steve jobs etc And it is also true when anybody criticizes USA it may be because he/she expects a lot from it; this expectations should not be taken as negative instead it shows greatness of a nation, What we can only wish that some of its citizen do understand that privilege

Many of those incidents you cited are not all about radical Muslims, there were incidents about desperate people who wanted freedom from tyrant Empire /Ruler and they happened to be Muslim :there are many such events you can find in history of Europe and USA, in fact your country’s founding fathers were called as terrorist by British Empire.

Don’t you think your former president used that word “crusade “ for so many times until it had been criticized and you cannot deny his radical views , as for Jews the state of Isreal itself a terrorist state, though I believe Jews have right to live in a Jews state and they have right to defend from its hostile neighbored but how can you defend its killing of so many innocent Palestine? It recently killed more than 1000 people citing that terrorist attacked their country and killed some people(it was less than 5), every body was shocked other than those radical jews

As far as those reasons you showed for Iraq and Iran, I know all these, but that doesn’t legitimize the whole process.

Yes you can say you are a Empire, you can do whatever you like, then I have no counter argument, I argue as I see USA depict itself as a champion of freedom

I think radical Muslims don’t have high take fighter jet to bomb on innocent people like radical Christian s and Jews, so they use suicide bombing.

If US wanted to save shia’s from Saddam regime why it funded him to begin a unnecessary war against Iran? Sold Chemical Weapons to him ?

I agree there were radical Muslims before, but then USA don’t bomb those countries for that reason , I think extreme views are dangerous for any society, If some radical Muslims think they have the right to kill “Kafer” (non believers) then there are also evangelical Christians who think they are children of God and they have right to kill children of devil( like Muslim, so called anti Christ) , and there are many Jews who believe they are God’s automatic choice to rule this world, Hindu Brahman think they are the true blessed one, and many others who are fighting for God’s party, Now question is if we believe God is there, does he has so many parties?

Whatever happened in Iraq is shameful , no human being with right mind can deny that,When any one see those face who are killed for not a single true reason , he or she react naturally, same thing goes for those who killed at 9/11.As we know two wrong don’t make a right, USA is a great country, It should behave more reasonably and conscientiously to solve any issue .Bombing on innocent people cannot be a solution, you cannot kill everybody , it just raise tensions , it helps extremists to recruit readymade
terrorist. Killing is bad for everybody but it hurts more to the killer that why you find many USA soldier return with severe mental problems same you can find for those people who bombs on innocent women or children.

As far the main issue of this thread Iran, I believe west( particularly USA) should not do the same mistake as it did before, helping some selfish politicians to overthrow the democratically elected government . I just read a article of Flynt Leverett , who is a leading authority on US foreign policy, a former member of American National Security Council: he said President Ahmednijad was legitimately elected , he showed a pre poll
Survey conducted by one of the leading survey organizations of USA” Terror free tomorrow (TFT)” predicted a landslide victory for current president .He ask President Obama not to do the same mistake as US did at 1953. In his article he wrote that current protest is against Ahmednijad( oh this guy has a tough name) probable done by those whom he accused for massive corruption like Rafsangani and his sons. He ask US president to accept this election as it was free and fair enough and move forward the diplomacy with Iran’s reelected President. We can only hope Mr. Obama will take right decisions rather than going with whimsical sentiments that are also exist in some people’s mind.
