It looks like there will be no recount or revote for the presidency of Iran.

"Iran's supreme leader said Friday that there was "definitive victory" and no rigging in disputed presidential elections, offering no concession to protesters demanding the vote be canceled and held again."

One can only wonder where this will lead, but my guess is this is not the end of the story.

How fortunate we are not to be ruled by the pope or some other religeous figure!

Would you like to have an Ayatola make the final decisions on how everything is done in our country?

Well, if as I suspect, that the Pope and various other religious figures are all involved with the illuminati, then I'm afraid that you ARE very much being ruled by them, old chap!

Actually, I would rather have near total Anarchy. Every person will help out in his community, not some unseen faces spending money like we were their personal piggy bank.

I have to agree with you.

The Catholic church is STILL all powerful, with a finger in every pie, albeit in subtle ways.

HJFinAZ: I wholeheartedly agree..

I think we should pull all troops out, shut off the supplies of any kind we send and STOP buying their damn oil.

Let them continue their wars between themselves and let them kill each other and if they ever pose a threat to the free world, make glass out of them..

With all the broken windows in the world today, we need more glass anyway.grin

Zee, the closest country I can think of that has near total anarchy is Somalia. I can't believe an intelligent guy like you would ever want to live in a place like that, where everybody needs to carry an AK47 just to stay alive.

Welcome to the thread, I was hoping someone from Iran would show up. There is a lot the west doesn't know about Iran. It would be nice if the people of Iran could interact with the people of the US without governments getting in between.

Thanks for your warm welcome and thanks for having me. Persians and Americans were always best friends in fact we have been very good friends to all countries and nations that they all turned us down in 1979. First of all let me start by telling you that we are Persians and we speak Farsi. These mullahs are promoting Arabs cultures and as you can hear they always start they speeches with Arabic words that me as an Iranian even don’t understand it. Persia have a long story and there have been always ups and downs, bad governments are coming and going, this government is one of the worst in the history of Iran that they must go. And now it's the time for change.
