To keep it simple; it's a Holiday that many have off. It is a day to end the last day of Summer.... The true meaning: The first Monday in September, observed as a holiday in the United States and Canada in honor of working people.
And, I goofed in the poll. It should read:
I wear white after Labor Day, although the standard is not to wear white. I think that times have changed and so have the standards that apply to dress (in some respects).
