I agree with you madam smoky,and would like to say that txt spk is also to blame as it is easier to communicate without any effort.I paid good money on another site and filtered out what i didn't want just to be innundated with txt spk msgs from younger women on the take as it were.I am desperately trying to learn French at present, and i despair when i get it wrong.Hence trying to find a lovely French lady to converse with here.You are also right in that the eyes are most important when you first meet hence no picture.
