I'm glad you differentiate between the scammers and 'normal' men. But, is there any such thing? Or any such thing as a normal woman for that matter.
Yes, men can struggle with communicating their feelings, and we've all read the literature that says women are better at that sort of thing. But we can communicate very effectively when we need to, and some of us communicate for a living, so we must be doing something right.
Communication over the internet is difficult, because so much of real conversation comes through body language. Myself I like to see the eyes of the person I'm talking to, male or female. The eyes tell the story more often than not. And on the internet we can't see the smiles or hear the intonation. Sometimes it's hard to realise someone is actually joking.
So, let's hear it for good, honest, a-little-bit-strange maybe, but men. Different from women. Maybe not as developed emotionally. But still men, with all the things you love about us (occasionally, or from time-to-time, or passionately if you're lucky). Vive la difference!
