Ok just had a quick look into this and he might be right.....the uk rules state as follows:
It is illegal to buy prescription-only drugs without a prescription or consultation in the UK, whether on or offline. This law currently does not apply to websites based abroad as long as you're buying for personal use. The same rule applies if you were to bring them through airport customs here. (uk)
Anabolic steroids are allowed, however the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) will take action if they suspect that people plan to supply medication to others.
There is currently a loophole in UK in the Medicines Act 1968 which means that although many drugs can be dispensed only after a patient has consulted a doctor, the consultation need not be face-to-face.
If my understanding is right he must have Uk consultant...whocan only prescribe up to 3 months worth at a time......and post them to UK address....he would then have to bring over border...easy enough in fairness......
Not really sure...anyway he has no need to buy online as all his meds are free
Anyone found to be in breach of medicinal products’ legislation, on conviction in the District Court, may face a maximum fine of €1,927 and/or up to one year in jail per offence.
* On indictment to the Circuit Court, offenders may face a fine of up to €127,000 and/or 10 years in prison per offence.
* Subsequent convictions by indictment can lead to a maximum fine of €317,500 and/or up to 10 years’ imprisonment per offence.
This is current legislation on buying drugs.....basically you can buy them but if they are posted over customs will seize them and a letter is then sent to you from the Irish medicines board.....youcan buy for personal use but a licence is required to import drugs into ireland and doctors filling out scripts to be filled abroad must have a relevant license to do so also.....
Should be enough to answer legal questions...checkout irishhealth.com.....jesus the internet is great..
He really needs to contact the HSE and find out about his entitlements.......i understand about cheaper drugs but its just not worth the risk.......
Mental handicap Mental illness (for people under 16 only) Diabetes insipidus Diabetes mellitus Haemophilia Cerebral palsy Phenylketonuria Epilepsy Cystic fibrosis Multiple sclerosis Spina bifida Muscular dystrophies Hydrocephalus Parkinsonism Acute leukaemia Conditions arising from use of Thalidomide
These are all the conditions covered under the long term illness scheme and as far as i can see he should be getting all his meds for free as both his confditions are listed......he should talk to his GP
Not a hope in hell.......i have to look into all this as part of my course work and most likely goign to be doign my thesis on it.........most of these drugs are made in candlestine labs and repacked........very sophisticated systems are used and its a multi million dollar industry..........diabetes is on the long term illness listso all his drugs for that should be free...not sure about epilepsy but he should qualify for drug payment scheme which means 100 quid a month is all he should be paying..........PLease warn him from these sites
RE: what is your favourite......
