Hi everyone, just wanted to say goodbye and hope everyone has a great life, I have started off this year really well having met someone incredibly special (from another site) and am off in pursuit of life and happiness, to all I have met herr, hope you all have fantastic lives.
In relation to the original question lol, before you lot got sidetracket in muff diving etc
Yes he will love it, I don't now (commitments take priority apparently lol) I did just over 300, highest was 14000 feet, places such as puckapunyal, pakenham, violet town, leongatha, corowa, mangalore etc and went to an international event in Bali with the last jump there being a mass (about 470?, can't remember the exact number of skydivers) sunset beach jump, I've jumped out of things ranging from a motorised hang glider to helicopters and a stretched version of the C130 hercules.
He will absolutely love it but be careful it can be extremely addictive
I used to have a fear of heights but managed to overcome it by taking up of all things "skydiving", probably not the most rational of things to do, but I'm now very comfortable with heights whicch is probably good considering what i do for a living Its not a fear but i have a very healthy respect for snakes, as long as there's 10 mm of glass between us I'm happy
The media can only brainwash you if you allow it to. We all know that the media will portay any story based upon their views or in a way to maximise sales, ergo it is your duty to question and verify anything you read or see in the media for yourself.
not sure about navy cooks but we used to call the army cooks fitters and turners, they would fit food into pots and turn it into crap, maybe they all go work for macca's after they leave the army
This was very well said, its too easy to get morose, but see it as an opportunity, to catch up with famnily / friends, go some where new, lol and if all fails work.
The way I see it, its what you make of it, yes it's nice to have someone special in your life to share it with, but its too easy to let it get to you, so take it as an opportunity to catch up with friends, family people you may not have seen otherwise, go to a new place, meet new people, anyway just a thought.
Goodbye and Goodluck
