RE: Would you date a person who did drugs?

I said you sound like a kid! And I dont mean to be picking on you but are you actually reading your posts? Some people have been smoking cigarettes for 30 years (legal drug) and died from cancer or heart related problems! Lucky you for now! And your comment that a person already has it in them in the first place....Look up all your "soft drugs" on the internet! Check out the statistics!

RE: Would you date a person who did drugs?

Come back to me in a few years with an addled brain and tell me I was wrong! Oh wait you dont need to wait a few years! You have the perfect fluffy brain needed!

RE: aloha peoples

Hi there and welcome head banger

Dont run away...Lol!

RE: Would you date a person who did drugs?

I am not even voting in your "poll"! Your idea of soft drugs show the knowledge of a kid! I had to check your profile to see what age you were and was shocked! That is the type of post expected from a teenager! Since when was cannibis and ecstasy considered soft drugs? These KILL? What makes them soft! Is that like the weedkiller on the market? That is killing kids for a quick high!

RE: Divorce Whats It cost these days ???

Hi Folks! I am newish here...Have been here before and back again after long time away. I have been reading through the threads and this one really caught my eye. I have had the experience of the Legal Aid route and didn't find it great to put it mildly. This is how it works:

You apply. You get accepted for legal aid about 3 to 6 months later, in my case I was unemployed at the time and renting with 2 dependents! I was sent a list of solicitors in my area (that could be questioned - as there was only one available within a 40 mile radius. I went to him and he was great... Or so I thought! I just wanted divorce, we had no assets - We have 2 kids so I wanted minimal maintenance (in other words wasn't changing it from our mediation agreement 6 years previous - even with inflation). I don't know how solicitors act for private customers, but I wouldnt believe its the same. I wasn't told by my solicitor of date of divorce - My ex informed me of that! My Decree of Divorce was sent to a previous address which I had rang my solicitor on 3 occasions to change it - as I was never getting anything from him.

I do know there are good solicitors out there participating in legal aid...I just didn't get one.

And by the way, not all solicitors are money hungry monsters. Since my divorce I have had to get a REAL solicitor, as my ex has been playing silly beggers since divorce, and I have become employed. My new solicitor has completely acted in my best interest and not even charged me for a lot that I feel I might have been charged for. I was expecting a lot higher bills.

I was given the option of DIY divorce by my Ex at the time... He offered to pay for it all...He even had someone lined up! But I thought I should find someone to fight my corner. I didn't trust him. He bullied me in mediation... that was never happening again.

Anyway, I thought I was going to make this a short reply...Sorry about that, and hi to peeps who dont know me yet!
