The whole reason we are taught history is to make sure that we do not repeat the mistakes made in it. I have an ex-boyfriend like you who I would have (at the time) done anything for, and now he is coming around again in the same hopes you are for your girl. No offense, and I hate to be rude, but if you were really worth it, you would have proved it the first time around and not try to make up for it now that it is too late. Again, I hate to be rude, bt at the same time, what gives you the right to even try, if she has already done all that she had promised?
Fact of the matter is...I get more emails telling me of relationship problems (marriage proposals aside from other countries) than I do people that are trying to have a new relationship. I am not an expressive person, but I have waited 4 years to believe that I am ready for a new relationship. I do not mind meeting new people and having them as friends, but I have to admit...when I receive a new email, and it's about relationship troubles that someone I have never spoken to is having, it defeats the purpose of all of this just a bit.
What is the point of all of you being here, if not to have new experiences, and better luck than you have had in the past? Really...I have been a member here for ... I guess, over 6 months now at least. All I have heard in the forum's, is what you are not getting, and questioning how to get what you want. If you have not payed attention to your past relationships and what went wrong in the past, maybe you need a shrink instead of a dating site. I'm not perfect by any means, but I realize my faults. Take a look at yourself before trying to promise yourself to another...just sayin'. Maybe I am being rude, but this is me. At least I know what I want and appreciate.
I keep getting messages from people without pictures, and who know's if they are telling the truth or not, but I am also getting messages from guys who are definitely too young for me. Patience is a virtue.
I don't mean to sound rude in any way, but if a man with a brown bag on his head approached me asking me out on a date...my reaction would be the same as it is on this site. If I can not see what you look like, chances are...I'm not going to agree to go out with you. Am I the only one who feel's this way? Have any of you dated anyone without knowing what they look like?
