Well for a serious relationship, those are my preferences.
As stated before: Expect a reception that reflects your presentation. That doesn't exclude having fun and keeping my mind open: some women are serious but are also direct/blunt... it's all a matter of the vibe perceived.
But I must add, what I observed was that some people would tend to get married to have that special day, where everything is supposed to be perfect, everyone looking good, smelling good, inside an old chapel with birds that don't crap! Seriously, they have adult receptions (no kids allowed), and it seems to pop-up more often (at least in my entourage). There even was an occasion when they wanted a child shipped to be the ring bearer. I always thought marriage was about building a home for a possible familly... its become superficial. All about the GLAMOUR.
As stated by many: seflishness, individualism, lazyness/unwillingness to compromise... but there's also the fact that a lot of people rush things and skip the part where they should get to really know their partner and appreciate them in spite of their flaws.
And lastly, pay attention to the said red flags, some are trivial but others are to be taken seriously... if your partner is violent tempered, stop the wishful thinking; it'll only result in bruised body and/or soul.
I voted for any type because I really mean conservative in public, but liberated in our intimacy.
If she's too liberated it might kill the "magic of erotism" (by that I mean flirting; both with mind and body) - To me, if she seems too promiscuous, in the way she dresses and/or acts, it kills the part of me that would want to get to KNOW her. Like I always say: Expect a reception that reflects your presentation.
Now, if she's too conservative, it might also kill the "magic of erotism" on a medium to long run. Attraction is both mental and physical, if the physical aspect of the relationship is looked down upon... then it is just plain torture. Because at some point, you want to express those feelings through a heated, passionate dance...
Just recently have I been made aware of this "issue" tall women have... I'm used to women always seeking (much) taller men and that being a rule of thumb, I figure some men won't even bother with taller women. I wouldn't say they are intimidated, perhaps they feel it's futile; given that women their height and taller barely even notice them and are not interested otherwise... That's my take on the subject, though I don't really care about a woman's height, plenty of women have made it pretty clear that they care about a man's height.
