It's about being happy with where you're at and who you are. I had a couple of friends who got depressed when they turned 30 whereas I embraced it. I'm 52 and I don't care. I appreciate each day that I am alive. Many people die before they see 20 or 30!! They never get to travel like I have, being in love, have a family and whatever else matters to each of us.

It's not really just about a number or health/fitness though, it's also about the individual, attitude and life experiences. I've chatted with men younger than me whose attitude and outlook on life I found to be old.. But I have also had a wonderful long term relationship with someone a few yrs younger than me. It all depends on the 2 individuals and how they relate and connect.

Email a few times first before meeting in person and I am actually amazed at how high the percentage was for that option in the poll results given the fact that so many men want to meet right away.
If they can't be bothered to get to know you a little online first

PLUS if you don't feel that connection, even if purely based on friendship, then it's not worth meeting. It's not a reflection on anybody, only that there is no connection..

I am chatting to a couple of people at the moment that I would love to meet because the chat is good, steady, interesting; we have common traits/interests/life experiences. But that would take some organising as they are from other countries!!

I have actually done it. Not just to another country but another continent. Literally half way across the world actually! To a culture very different from mine.. Two children later we divorced eventually but I don't put it down to my relocating. I would certainly consider it again. If the relationship is worth considering marriage, then obviously relocating would be an easy decision to make.
