you see for your payments to go through VEC need to tell social that your going on a course, so then the social them go on the computer and see what your story is, it will then be acknowledged that you only signed on 2 weeks and the place will be given to someone who has been unemployed for the 6 months

right problem so.....
after you apply they send a letter to the social to verify if you are legit and eligable, so you will be caught on that level, are you near being 6 months signed on they might swing it for you

same people who i did my course with, one great thing as your payment gets swapped over FETAC let you work as well as getting paid by them for doing a course, but it cant clash with your course,

dont say anything, same thing happened to me ages ago, i was claiming so i signed up for a course, then i stopped claiming to do a bit of work, so i said nothing,,, 2 months later college called me saying are you still coming to college, so i said nothing and signed back on... no one ever said anything...
