Why is it everytime I try and think of an N word, it's actually a K!!! doh

So I'll have to settle for noodles

RE: Greatest footie player of all time?

I think that's the problem for a lot of the UK players who are in the premiership - club first, country second - it's just not right and whilst many will knock Beckham for his celebrity status and off field antics, he played his little heart out every time he played for his country - as it should be!!! very mad

And games where your country beats Germany, now they are always to be cherished!!!! cheering

RE: Greatest footie player of all time?

Would have to go for another United player and say Ryan Giggs. I think it was to Englands detriment that he elected to play for Wales. A top player and at his peak, deadly! cheering

RE: Greatest footie player of all time?

Definitely, Gazza had genius in his feet, shame it never went near his brain! doh

Plus I would have to add as defenders: Bobby Moore and Franz Beckenbauer - wow to see those two play along side each other would have been something head banger

RE: Greatest footie player of all time?

Well given that said sister is now nearly 60, I really don't think she would be up to your volleyball lessons. Though I'm sure she could teach you a thing or two, course you'd have to say 5 Hail Marys and 10 Our Fathers as penance

RE: Greatest footie player of all time?

I'd have to agree on Best as my all time top player. He was a loveable rogue - dated one of my sisters back in the early 70s when she was Miss Bristol cheering

And as for players on a team - I'd have Peter Schmeichel as my goalie. His stint at United was top rate - he is definitely one of the all time top goalkeepers bowing

RE: Do you know who Slim Whitman was (radders stay out)

Now to be sure, that goes without saying lips

RE: Do you know who Slim Whitman was (radders stay out)

Aahh! He was dad's favourite (Jim Reeves was my mum's)

Thanks for all the links - bringing back very happy memories

RE: In a realationship.....

Top rules!!! I would have to agree with all cheers

I would add 'must love dogs' - as if they are a genuine dog lover, they usually also have a lovely, loyal disposition dancing dog

RE: The Gift Certificate and a Grammar Lesson

Maybe if I could use more stories like this, my male students would pay attention to what I am saying!!! frustrated

RE: rice or pasta dishes

Always the best way devil

RE: Smile :)

Excellent! Definitely made me chuckle rolling on the floor laughing

RE: rice or pasta dishes

Your in Italy and you need pasta recipes? That's not good!!! rolling on the floor laughing

But I will give you one of my sure fire, easy peasy recipes for chilli tuna pasta.

You'll need an onion, mushrooms, tin of tuna in brine, chilli powder, double cream and fresh tagliatelle.

Fry off the onions and mushrooms, put the tagliatelle on to cook in a separate saucepan, flake in the tuna with the mushrooms and onions and then a quarter to whole teaspoon of chilli powder (depending on how hot you like it blushing ). Once hot, reduce the heat and add the cream, warm through, don't boil! Finally, drain the pasta and mix into the creamy tuna. Serve with crusty bread and enjoy!!!

Let me know if you try it and how it tastes (am on a diet - so no carbs for me sigh )

RE: Three words that make woman happy

As long as I don't get snookered blushing

RE: Three words that make woman happy

Pink ball, corner pocket!!

RE: Three words that make woman happy

Try - it's an online dictionary and although appears as German - English, you can change it to Russian - English.

And as for those 3 little words - obviously "How about Tiffany's?" would have to be up there near the top cheering but my winner is "Early night Darling!" banana

RE: How important is the physical?

It's always depressing getting traded in for a younger, prettier model crying

Attraction isn't always physical and my mother was one for saying "that beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and I sure hope she was right kiss
