RE: Marriage

I know it's the wrong way to look at it, but there are a lot of scammers out there in Australia, a lot of the women just want to screw a bloke over whether its marriage or having kids....

There is a major problem with laziness and lack of morals and ethics in my age group unfortuantely

RE: Marriage

I don't see any benefits in the whole institution of marriage now, esp in Australia where things are so against the males in every aspect, there is no real gain at all, but a potential gain for the women.....so much for equality

RE: Marriage

Argh marriage.....I couldn't think of anything worse....

After my experiences I'll never walk down the isle, just not something I'll ever consider

Think I'll be a bachelor for life!

RE: Friday 13th??

Awesome day!!! I was born on Friday the 13th (July 1979) and every Friday the 13th means good luck to me :D

RE: Why people (men) don't want to have kids?

This is a constant issue I keep coming across and have stayed single because of this reason.

In my case, I'm not a kid kinda person, never have been and I doubt that's going to change anytime soon

The world already has enough dead beat parents who will more than likely breed more dead beat kids.....

I think it's horses for courses, everyone is entitled to their opinion on the matter, it's just a "Choice" we decide to make with the right (or maybe not so right) person.

I've made my choice not to be pressured or bullied into having a family and I actually look for women who don't want kids to avoid the pressures also

RE: MEET IN MELBOURNE??

Sounds like the job I need to be doing....but I'm not a sales person and I hate wooing clients....take me as I am or don't do business with me is how I tend to approach it lol

RE: MEET IN MELBOURNE??

Can totally relate to that, I also work for a global company (consulting & outsourcing etc) and its very common to have meetings at strange hours due to colleagues in different countries and time zones etc, glad I'm not in that area, I'll stick to supporting 2500 laptop users and doing server crap instead lol

RE: osama bin laden is

Osama is working along side Elvis at a Seven Eleven a few blocks from Graceland....

RE: MEET IN MELBOURNE??

It's funny you should say about your daughter and her partner meeting via the industry...it's quite common place due to similar interest factor and the ability to understand what each other's job entails and sacrifices that need to be made to succeed in their roles and careers in general (and relationships)

RE: MEET IN MELBOURNE??

Most of us do have the "inner nerd" but in my age bracket, it's neither cool or fashionable to put it out there.....rather ironic that 99% of the people who tend to think it's not cool own a mobile phone, tablet (Ipad, Galaxy tab etc) or a laptop (MAC or PC) which was invented and developed by who.....NERDS :P

RE: MEET IN MELBOURNE??

Generally I don't tend to frequent pubs or clubs very often these days as I spend most of my time in either the office or training in the gym twice a day, or studying if the chance arises....the perils of being an IT nerd :D

RE: MEET IN MELBOURNE??

At least that's reassuring (the part of not making spectacles on yourselves), I guess I'm a little more experienced in the internet meeting/greeting than I wish to admit lol

Give me a latte or a lemon lime and bitters and I should be alright

RE: MEET IN MELBOURNE??

Hmmmm looks like I better not rock up...

Before you start on the "trashed" stuff....I'm a recovering alcoholic.......

RE: MEET IN MELBOURNE??

Yes, trashed! I've been to meet and greets online for many years (been online since I was 15m so close to 18 years) and some of the people get blind drunk.....instant turn off lol

RE: MEET IN MELBOURNE??

Hmmm may consider it.....just dreading the participants who will get trashed though :/
