many of the ballads of antiquity had up to 30 (or more) verses and were a lively diversion of animated story telling before the days of radio, TV, and so on. I love them, have researched and learned a few myself over the years. Ballads are rad! Thank you for this post

but to all of you, of whom the native language is English or American English ( as even I and others, I could see on here, got giving out by their spelling in PROPER English!!! like learnt / UK or learned / US, favourites / UK or favorites / US, colour / UK or color US...) so please forgive me for all of my Grammer and spelling mistakes
