You made a mistake, it happens your not happy with what you said. If you still would like to pursue this girl, tell her the truth that you had listened to advice that wasn't so great and you had no intension on hurting her. If she is an understanding person she will understand that you didn't mean anything bad by it and everyone makes mistakes once in a while.
This is not to hard for me cus , I've known a few people in that situation and myself, I would remind them life goes on and there are many many more people out their that could make them just as happy even happier and to use that experiance as a learning experiance. Remember you can't love until you have lost.
