RE: I am not responsible for your happiness

We all have expectations. When our relationship does not live up to those expectations it often causes some degree of unhappiness.
The worse scenario is when your partner does not adhere to agreements related to the expectations you or both of you hold for the relationship. That calls for re-negations or breakup in some instances.
We need to acknowledge that our happiness is the result of our own thoughts and feelings. No matter what the situation, you still determine your own happiness.
It is a great burden to carry other peoples happiness on your shoulders. Especially when they are reliant on you to keep them happy. This is never achievable in the first place.
