RE: What was your first Gig? & who's your Next?

first concert i ever went to see was singer-songwriter jason mraz (or free cleveland orchestra concert; if that counts)
next concert i hope will be to see josh groban again:)

RE: Is anyone else tired of Madonna?

i'm glad someone agrees with me! i am also tired of madonna. she's overplayed and overrated. i never thought she had much talent. her singing is just so-so. i'm tired also of the "pop tarts" who wanna be her. I think they are ruining music.

RE: ones that mean something to you

for me, also, most songs that i love mean something to me. here are some:
"breathing" lifehouse
"take me away" also by them
"hanging by a moment" also by them
"in your eyes" peter gabriel
"remember when it rained" josh groban
"wash" lifehouse
"sleepwalker" wallflowers
"better days" goo goo dolls
"you raise me up" by josh groban
"believe" also by him
"boulevard of broken dreams" green day

and i could go on

RE: Music On A Deserted Island

i would pick a song from lifehouse. they have so many incredible songs to choose from and the singer is tremedous. could listen to him all day:)

RE: Music Quizz!!

my answers
1. theme song of "the flintstones"
2. "wake me up when september ends" green day, "sixth avenue heartache" by wallflowers
3. just three? almost anything sung by josh groban is my answer. i will name three of my favorites by him: "believe", "you raise me up", "broken vow"
4. "everything" lifehouse "in your eyes" peter gabriel, "you and me" by lifehouse, "breathing" by lifehouse
5. Jason Mraz, Josh Groban, Lifehouse, Juanes, sorry haven't seen 5 bands/singers in concert yet but did see Lifehouse twice!
6. the three lifehouse cds "No Name Face", "Stanley Climbfall", "Lifehouse". Exceptional songwriting. Powerful, emotional, meaningful, a cd by the cleveland orchestra should be in every collection. great orchestra. amazing live. even if you think you don't like classical music, give them a chance,
wallflowers "bringing down the horse", which i consider their best album. some great lyrics. the cd "closer" by josh groban. some touching, powerful lyrics here too and his voice is just tremendous
7. my high school's song, "muppet show" theme song, "smurfs" theme song (i'd liked that cartoon as a kid), lots of the "oldies" songs that my parents listened to, "mickey mouse" club theme song, "it's a small world after all" ( i had watched the "mickey mouse club")
8 fave video clips "spin" by lifehouse, "hanging by a moment" by lifehouse, "one headlight" by the wallflowers, "you and me" by lifehouse, juanes' "la paga" ("the payback"), shakira "objection (tango)", "la copa de la vida (cup of life)" ricky martin, "blind" by lifehouse (i've heard about it; have yet to see it)
9 songs that remind me of someone:
"breathing" by lifehouse
"in your eyes" peter gabriel
"take me away" lifehouse
"remember when it rained" josh groban
"quasimodo" by lifehouse
"hanging by a moment" lifehouse
