RE: Opposites Attract?

Personally as to wether opposites attract i believe that a person needs balance relationship wise.
Everyone has differences to the personalities and their placement and while strictly speaking an introvert and a passemist to boot might go out with someone with similar qualities i feel that the sum would be greater as a whole if say they were bound up with an extrovert and optimist.
This isn't to say personality types can't clash, merely that such relations should be considered dynamic.
Me for example i'm quite self confident and honestly no doubt that comes across as arrogant and while a woman that my personality type might dominate might serve the end goal from a mans point of veiw i don't believe it would make a healthy relationship as opposed to someone who liked to take the piss out of people (not arrogant, just what some might call annoying or an assassinating character type).
I meen time may prove me wrong, but the theory makes some good sense and i've met someone just like me in life.
Quite honestly i didn't like myself, probably why i have the proactive F%#$ this S^#t attitude towards reliance on other people.
My point is if a person doesn't bring anything new to the table isn't it rather boring?

RE: why is so hard to find mr right

Not to be too critical, but the gramar in you're prose is horrendous.
From what i'm taking from my reading of the situation you had an abusive relationship that wasn't healthy for all those concerned and you're little girl is cut because lets face it no matter what a drunken abusive loser a parent might be they're still a close family member and representative of support.
Personally i don't see a problem with her hating the guy, but for her future she possibly may need to understand that's not how all relationships go, but this was the way things had to be and why.
From my experience you're extended families you're best bet for helping her overcome this grief, i mean what's better than a good uncle or aunt doting on her to fill that emotional gap he's left in her life?
Get the grandparents involved, grandparents love spending time with their children and their childrens children.
Just my two cents.

RE: Feeling Unwanted

Man i love this site. Nothing gives a better high than a bloke bleedin his heart out to a half dozen jokey replies.
As for constructive opinion i have a mate who saids gyms are the place to find the ladies.
Yay for the Ealenor Rigby generation more connected than ever still so very alone.
If i was you mate i'd start working on self worth to get some rejection fortitude and start using the old reverse popularity drive (whereby with you're newfound fortitude you can play off rejection as pretty much their loss and make them jealous by simply striking up a convo with the next person who walks by).
That's my clubbing game at any rate, too early to tell if it works, but i have confidence in the theory.
