RE: Anyone been to Manila , Philipines or speak Tagalog?

I love the phillipine's, the nicest people from any country, i've been. I've been there both on business, and personal. They speak English in even the remotest areas, even the wee chilren speak english, so no worries about knowing the language and ther's about120 different dialects.
I've travelled alone many times, never feeling unsafe, sure there's some bad people like any city, but the good there are amazing. I made so many great friends. Not sure your purpose for going, please try to see as much as you can, there's small islands, incredible, I've gone hanggliding there, travelled the rapids where the film apcolips now(spelled wrong, so tired my brain is not funtioning well at this hour)
Please enjoy your trip. I'm tired now so can't go on and on. any questions just contact me and I'll answer. I've been to 20 different countries and Phillipines 10 times. That tells you alot. GOOD LUCK and heaps of fun. THe midget restaurant in manilla is a riot.
