Is it perhaps by selling myself like everyone else is? stating my genuine qualities? I'm not being immodest! I've worked and interviewed people for job positions in the past with far LESS modesty than I actually possess.... Maybe because I dare use an image of myself, show my TRUE face on this website? Is that what you mean?

If by modesty you mean hiding behind a profile pic of a squiggle-lined-head made from '90's clip-art' then maybe you're right, but then I'd be missing the point of this website entirely, it'd equate to wearing a mask when I go out in public!

Dont mind reading a lenghty profile, with me thats ok....can sometimes tell alot about a person....the more they say (granting its all true) the more u can put together 'something' of what/who they r.

(Your) pictures r in general ok....but i cant see the eyes....i like to see the eyes....in ur pic they r always dark (hidden). The pics also look like they were posed for (and there is nothing wrong with that) but how about also adding one or two that looks more natural......the real you! That's all :)

It's not the imagery, it's the song, or perhaps the idea behind the song....just happens to be my favourite video of the song and I could see you as the Partisan fighter fighting the good fight regardless of the price (I have too vivid an imagination :))

Is the shorter cropped haired-look a more current or more 'in the past look'. Which is a recent? Folks like to know that when viewing profiles I think. It gives a very different view of you I think.

I agree with you about sharing some honest detailed information about yourself. If somebody doesn't have time to even read your profile then I'd be concerned about how they would respond to other communications once you start chatting with them.

Personally, I don't like these short one or two line descriptions that most people write. I like to get a bit of a perception of who they are from their profile and I think your profile does exactly that!

Completely agree with the one/two lines... although saying that... I have since experienced, that some folk also use that as a sneaky tactic, to draw people in... to encourage them to ask questions, engage in further email or IM contact... but personally, I mush prefer getting a brief overview too, so to speak!
