Unfortunately, keeping fit isn't really your thing. You think that pounding the streets or sweating in the gym is just not worth all the hassle. You feel that spare time should be for relaxing and indulging, and that is exactly how you intend to spend all your free time. However, it's worth remembering that everybody needs to make some effort to keep fit, and there are more ways of getting that extra bit of exercise than you may think. Next time you go to the shops in the car, try parking a little further away so that you have to do more walking to reach your destination. If you usually use the lift at work, try using the stairs instead. Research does suggest that those who make an effort to keep fit whilst they are young are less likely to develop serious illnesses later in life, such as heart disease and diabetes.
