Hello. Let me introduce myself to you. First and foremost, I am a young 50-something gal who loves to be outside doing just about anything -- walking, running, hiking, skiing, working in the yard... I have 1 dog who keeps me busy, active, and happy. I am comfortable dressed up for work, playing in jeans and a t-shirt, and working outside in carharts. I have a job that I love supporting higher education on the system/technical side so I'm a bit of a techy-chick. My family and friends are a huge part of my life and I love to entertain in my home for any occasion. Fixing a nice meal...and sharing the kitchen with someone I care about...makes it even more fun!!
I tend to eat on the healthy side although I do have a weakness for chocolate and diet coke - ha!! I love getting out to our local farmer's market during the summer months to enjoy the local bounty of veggies. I believe the community in which I live is important and I support our local establishments whenever possible.
I'm pretty easy going and live on the positive side of life. I am comfortable with who I am but I tend to be a little quiet when getting to know someone but in time that works itself out. I believe that life is about relationships and as such I have many dear friends with whom I stay in close contact both near and far.

As far as what I'm looking for in a partner. I guess a few things that hit the top of my list is someone who is comfortable with who they are and is open and honest and not afraid to talk things out when we hit a bump in the road. I'm hoping for a guy who prefers doing things whether enjoying the outdoors, listening to live music, cuddled on the coach watching a movie, going on a road trip, or just about anything together. Being a younger laid back guy that knows how to make a gal laugh would be a definite bonus. Oh, and you must love dogs too. {smile}
