I am short in stature, but can be big in personality. I like to be social & I am eternally curious about most things. I need solitude as well & like to have time to reflect, observe, marvel at nature, research & create. Often cooking (which I would like to share with another) is creating something beautiful & healthy. I often see things differently than most... I can get lost in the beauty of bark on a tree, the way light refracts through beveled glass or how a dog curls its' tongue under to drink. I do not like conflict, making calm rational communication extremely important. I love music (my taste is extremely ecclectic). Classical, R&R, Blues, Jazz, African drums...(not most hip hop, angry heavy metal, most new Country). Love dance & choreographed yrs ago. Former gymnast (& my body is paying the price to fly through the air). I am a home body, yet love new places & adventures traveling, getting lost & getting to know the locals - no tour groups for me. I adore animals, but am allergic to most (especially cats). I have 2 ShihTzues that are like my kids. My Grandchildren are like the sun to me (without the UV rays). They are the reason I moved here. I am the keeper of the family heirlooms from both sides & hope to tell their stories to my Grandchildren, who will not even know what a rotary phone is). I love books, especially a beautifully bound treasure. I listen to NPR, watch PBS, Amazon, Netflix &, I feel most television shows are safely dumbed down. I am very liberal & have dear friends who are Muslim (from Iran), from Palestine, friends who are Christian & some Pagan. I believe we should all believe as we wish & Love who(m) we Love in peace & harmony! We are human. I would like to leave our little blue planet better for the generations to come! I read, I write, I create, I dance (just not early in the morning). I am known as Mrs. Doolittle, as well as a "drive by hugger".
