Before anything: I'M NOT currently in Scotland -- I'm a writer living in the U.S.A., coming on a sort of... spiritual/self-finding trek through the Scotland, I guess. Who knows what it will be. I have a ticket to London from Chicago in December and I plan on going up a sleeper train to Inverness or Glasgow for Christmas (hope I find a place to stay where Christmas is being observed) and then back down to Edinburgh for Hogmanay and then... I don't know. Back home I guess? But I know NO ONE -- not a soul -- in Scotland. So I thought, why not try to find some friends on here?
