If you took the time to read this far down and are wondering if this is my serial killer shopping list, worry not.... it's for building sand castles.
This may be cliche for a dating site but "Don't judge a book by its cover". I'm not tall, dark, and handsome. I look rough around the edges and I'm marred by tattoos and scars. Born in the Philippines but been in this country all but one year of my life. Traveled the world in the U.S.M.C. and on my own across the country after I got out. Jack of all trades master of none. Now confined to an office job working for the federal government, I have been a CAD drafter and project manager for the past 12 years, I find that it's not a bad gig and don't think I could find anything better.
I am a widower but that was twelve years ago so if you're worried about some awkward timing don't be. Now I'm a father of a beautiful 7 year old girl and when she's with me most of my time is dedicated to her. And no, I'm not looking for a mother. Yes, it was later in life that I got around to having a kid but it is what it is and I've already been there, done that, and got a few t-shirts along the way. So I can certainly say I have no regrets and haven't been bothered by things I can't do because I have a child now. I get her every other week for the entire week which doesn't really leave much time to myself after the work day when she's with me.
Pretty much over the bar scene at this point in my life. I do have a drink every now and then but not to excess. The time I have to myself I'm usually fishing and hiking around the woods, off on a long drive, or home watching TV. I love to listen, talk, and laugh. I have an off beat sense of humor inherited from my father and can be sarcastic at times. Looking for a good friend; a best friend an amazing person to live, laugh, love, and enjoy life with.
